I really wasn't expecting WVU fans to be jealous of the Herd's accomplishments, as I thought the Herd stepping in, and bringing home an elusive national championship to the state of WV would be looked at with pride.

I think if WVU were to ever win anything of note, like a national title in soccer, guys like myself, Humpty, and Tony would be here congratulating them over finally getting over the hump.

The 'mad mute' is so disheartened, he just had to go dig for an article by jilted Ann Coulter (about soccer) that's seven years old, and post it on the MMB. TBONE61/ALLEN/MUTE is even claiming he didn't know Marshall even had a soccer team. That's true butt-hurt on the part of the mad mute.

Is BB gun shooting even an NCAA recognized sport? Isn't it like Bowling where some school will claim to win a National Championship? Or like Rodeo?

It's cool to see, and amusing, especially since a WV university won such a pansy-***, sweater-over-shoulder Karen type sport.

I don't think any MU fan would be all too congratulatory to WVU if it won the soccer NC next year. And I wouldn't care that much if WVU won, maybe slightly more than its rifle titles (which too many WVU posters make beat their chests about anyway).

But let's not act like your typical MU fans gives a **** about collegiate soccer. Soccer is to MU as rifle is to WVU. The only reason any of us care about it is bc our respectful schools have NCs. If WVU wins a wresting title or Marshall volleyball, our fans will act like we give a **** about those sports...which we don't.

So, congrats to MU fans on winning a NC in a sport that last year you would have laughed at anyone for caring about. But it's ok, WVU would do the same.
