after careful thought, i have decided to keep the goat my neighbors gave me for a lot of reasons. being a gift and all, i didnt think it would be good juju to regift an animal gift.
also i read where the chinese have the goat in the zodiac, which the next year is 2027 or year of the FIRE GOAT.
anyway, i decided to name the goat "yancy"but i spell it Y-U-C-C-A. because an old lady in jackson once pronunced her street name that way. she told me the reason she did that was that it always got her $3 off a pizza delivery because she the store never learned how to pronounce her street name right and it was always late
ive taken yancy off of fritos and green beans after doing some research. garbanzo beans are the new treat but grass hay has worked best. he bites me less now which is good. yancys BIG FIND is kudzu which he REALLY likes. I like it too because that stuff will take over a tree if you let it get out of control
my next project is upgrading his shelter and building him a little house from some remnant wood that I had in my shed from previous projects. Ive read that goats shouldnt be tethered or they might get tangled up and hurt himself. he seems to be adjusting to his new surroundings -- still makes a lot of damb noise at times but seems to be settling in some
