I dislike them too. While watching the game, I couldn't help but notice the big player for Purdue. He doesn't appear to be very athletic at all, but he is a force around the rim. However, Cal can't get minutes out of his very athletic big men. It is a matter of priority. They are simply not a priority of Cal's. You will never convince me that they are not serviceable players. We have no real rim protectors on the floor and Cal isn't doing anything to get one of the two he has on the floor.

I can’t tell if IU or Purdue runs a modern offense. Maybe it’s both?

But I can tell that Edney is slow as molasses.

He’s a Little 10 player for sure.

He is slow as molasses and yet he has a smart enough coach to be able to add some hot biscuits to the molasses for a hardy meal. Smart coaches are able to work with what they have to produce winners instead of spewing out a lot of nonsensical cliche's.

Cal loves the 6’7 or 6’8 guy that is athletic but can’t shoot at all

He’s slow but he’s got 29/17 and is an auto bucket around the rim.

If Purdue isn't good, how do you describe Kentucky?
Oh I don't think we are very good either.
But as a team with 1 loss and a potential number 1 seed, I would not fear them at all if we are lucky enough to be in their bracket come March.

When they switched to their game late one of the very first things out of Vitale's mouth was 'beat Kentucky.' For all you Vitale fans out there. He is one of several reasons we should NOT play them again.

Painter has missed a bunch of free throws today.

Wonder why that great coach with all those great players he’s coached up has never made a FF?

And lost to St Peters in the tourney last year.

Who would guard their big man. He would eat Oscar alive under the basket.
Man I am not trying to say we are going to beat them and win a Natty, we got our own problems. But I also wouldn't be so sure that tree trunk would eat up the reigning National player of the year.

For the record this is the first time I have seen them all year, but that team doesn't look like a national championship team to me. Maybe this year with a lot of teams losing left and right they will have a chance, but I will be shocked if that team cuts down the nets.

He hasn't had the opportunity to waste away nearly as much talent has Cal.
