Last year literally has zero effect on what’s going to happen Saturday, but if you want to get technical Kyle Alexander got hurt and didn’t play the Loyola game. You discredit Tennessee any chance you get. Kentucky is good, it’s at Rupp, Tennessee is extremely experienced and play really well together.
Just because they haven’t played a ranked team since Gonzaga doesn’t make them forget how to play a ranked team. That just dumb reasoning. If Kentucky wins I won’t be surprised, if Tennessee wins I won’t be surprised.
This game Saturday is going to be a great one, but your everyday, “they haven’t played a ranked team since Gonzaga they won’t be ready” is really stupid.

Every single game you play challenges you when every team is giving you their best shot. I mean you literally make no sense. You play the schedule you are given, we have dominated that schedule, get over it.
Well....followed a link over here and it's been interesting lol. I believe we might be coming into a hornets nest here...and vice versa when y'all come to Knoxville. I see us playing in Nashville. I like our experience but UK is always a program you don't want to see in March.
Been to Rupp twice and Commonwealth twice. Go figure....two losses and two wins. Had a blast at all four events. I hope we play four times this year....especially Minneapolis. I think it's possible.

Rideordiewildcat your point is valid. We did schedule Kansas and Zags. Can't control the SEC schedule...it is what it is. We are definitely going to be tested more Saturday than we have in two months....you are correct. I think we hang tough but lose a close one but get y'all in Knoxville and Nashville.

Again - I know you are being sarcastic. But proves my point of why I so strongly dislike/hate TN sports. I have been cursed in Knoxville for wearing a KY shirt. I have been spit at in Thompson Bowling. I have been beat over the head with an orange and white shaker by a drunk UT fan while at a Kentucky game in Lexington! Last year I went to the UT Kentucky game here in Knoxville and some idiot crammed his phone in my face after the game - filming me while shouting “how’s that feel Blue?” I’m not saying it never happens in Kentucky. But I have been to many games at Rupp and NEVER seen opposing fans spit at, cursed, or treated like crap. I took my father with dementia to his last basketball game last year. The Florida Game Day game we lost. I was heartbroken because I knew it was my dad’s last game. But I still still treated the Gator fans who were chanting behind me with kindness and respect. So pardon me if I have rather strong feelings about UT.
But just think if we win. You can go to their board and harass their 8 active fans.

Where ever there is a thread about TN we need the facts represented. You left out parts where I say Tn is a good team.
My husband and I argue over sports but have a wonderful relationship outside of that. He helps me take care of my father with dementia who lives with us. I have bigger issues in my life than tacky comments from a UT fan on a Kentucky message board. And if you have read anything else I wrote tonight - I have experienced ridiculous behavior from TN fans while living here.
Why don't you guys put this energy into having your own board? Can't get more than 20 of you to stick around?
They are the worst. They get a few good teams and they are world beaters. 1 E8 in over 100 years. We heard the same crap last year before we went to the SEC tourney and took our trophy back home.

As you know, there's only a couple of fans over there. Mostly good folks and posters your butt tight mods have already banned sans me at the time of this post. But it's a great place for level-headed debate nonetheless.

For the record, I am not some crazy hysterical wife. I was simply venting with my fellow Cat fans on OUR board about my level of dislike for TN. That level of dislike has come from the fact of being cursed multiple times, had tacky remarks made, been spit at while a guest at Thompson Bowling, and I could go on and on about the things that happened to me as a Cat fan living near Knoxville. My life is full and happy considering my father with dementia and my mom just recently beating cancer. My life does not revolve around a bunch of kids playing basketball. Do I love it? Yes. Do I hate the way I have been treated here over said sport? Yes. If we win I’ll be thrilled. If we lose I’ll be upset. But life will go on and our historical record speaks for itself. So I’ll thank you sir for not calling me hysterical for a meaningless vent on a message board.

I know your pain. I've largely lived in the Knox area since I was about 9. When I was in middle school, 8th grade, Kentucky lost to Tennessee both on the road and at Rupp. After losing the second game, which was in Rupp, I had a teacher at school specifically seek me out to mock me and the fact that UK had lost to Tennessee.
When I say that she sought me out, I mean that I only had her class every other day, and the day after the game fell on a day I didn't have her class. So, during her own personal lunch break she went and interrupted the science class I was in just to make fun of me and the fact that UK lost. We didn't have a science class that day... the hour was spent making fun of UK losing.
It was a really ****** thing to do to a 12 year old.
