I hate Bye weeks

Cheering on a rival's demise is standard bye week fare. That's what Packers and Bears fans will be doing this weekend. On an Iowa bye week watching Nebraska lose in new and inventive ways is always entertaining.
I used to have this mindset until I came to my own senses and figured out that I was kind of losing my mind living vicariously through a group of young men who are an above average football team for the most part. I went fishing this morning and now am going to enjoy the other games on and have a nice relaxing dinner tonight with the family. I still love watching the Hawkeyes but I guess I just don't let the losses effect me like they used to. Not knocking anyone who it still does but I guess I started looking at the bigger picture after some family tragedies and the MSU B1G title game loss didn't help... I don’t know if I have recovered, that was a gut punch and I look at things differently now.

Most iowa fans would cheer a team of pedos on if they were playing nebraska.
Most Nebraska fans would cheer a former player who hid in a closet while a teammate raped a coed in his apartment and then invite him back to lead their team as head coach. Oh wait... They DID do that. Same head coach played a player AFTER it was known that he sent a video to a large group of people of a 15 year old ex girlfriend being sexually assaulted. Scum people. It's not so bad. At least we don't have to see Iowa try to run an offense. But did you see Cincinnati today? What a QB. And what a bunch of receivers. But you can't expect to get talent like that to choose Iowa over Cincy.
