It may not mean much to some but I got selected for season tickets, My daughter is way over joyed. As I promised her that after my divorce I would do more things with her.

Then out of nowhere I get a call form the athletics department.

Granted there uppers but I don’t plan on ever letting go of these.

Will you be able to eat apples and corn on the cobb?

I got selected too.

By aliens.

Seriously though. Enjoy the games with your daughter.
Should have played power ball but I’m afraid I used up all my luck.

Does candy apples and corn count since it’s Halloween?

Congratulations! Hope you have many great memories with your daughter going to games.
Ty been tring for years to take her but my ex wife would always have a reason I couldn’t take her.

What section are the seats in?
Unfortunately it’s 219 this year. I was told by the athletics department I can change next year if others become available. But she’s a huge UK fan like me and basketball ball is her passion. She tore a ligament in her ankle over summer practice so she’s more than likely not going to get to play this year.
This has really upped her spirits on not being able to play

Congratulations! What letter are you? Like Row? K,L ,Q. I never cared as long as I was there. I hated getting in double letters tho. I also hate behind the basket no matter where im at. I can't believe they sit players families where they do. They could sit em on the side.

No double letters anymore! And your butt will still be sore but at least you can lean wit’ rock wit’ it with your chair-back.

That’s great. I was selected last year and had uppers. Was able to move to Section 28 this year.

How much does it cost for season tickets once all the fees and various other expenses are included? To make it simple, let's say the cheapest seats in Rupp.

The whole season, depending on home games it equates to $45-60 a ticket. These are the upper level seats almost at the top of the arena.
Unless Western Kentucky comes to Rupp, then it’s $110 a ticket. Thievery.

My youngest son applied and got picked. He’s in sec 223 and up there but was excited. They sold him 2 seats one behind the other!

It’s a chunk of money for a kid his age but he is willing to drive up to Lex for the games . I’m hoping he’ll ask Dad to go.

We have had ours since the 70’s. I no longer go to games so my son pays for them and uses them. I told him don’t ever let them go

If you can, buy season tickets to other sports to build up your k fund points. Request an upgrade every year. I started in row DD and now I'm row G. I could probably get lower arena but I don't want to pay the extra "donation" right now.

I’m sure he will, or I at least hope he does. I will probably let most of my games go as my work schedule doesn’t let me get to most of them
