So after Kentucky loses, I no longer have interest. Which means I could care less who wins it and will not watch a second more. I hope the other teams do well in life but it doesn’t matter to me if their programs get life time bans for cheating. I watched about 2 seconds of the UL championship run in 2013 only because my wife was switching through channels trying to sneak and watch it.

I do like the NBA, and turtles

I like green beans and tribute boy bands like Old Kids on the Corner, Frontstreet Men and Manudo the solo act for Menudo.

Hate golf and mean people

Love bananas and not big fan of raisins except the California Raisins

Broccoli, baby ducks and trucks are okay

I could care less for god's sake by not watching UK but that will never happen.

GO BIG BLUE!

I know this is in jest to the dumb NBA post..

But I am irked by fellow fans who just toss the sport aside when Kentucky loses. Part of why I became a Kentucky fan was simply because I hated Duke and UNC front runners and Fairweather fans.

Kentucky basketball is what it is, in part due to the sport as a whole. Refusal to watch the rest of the tournament is something a Kansas fan would do. Be better than that.

Nope not better than that. Sorry. I am sore loser and I will admit it. Once UK is out I am out. I was born Blue. I didn't become a UK fan because of my dislike for front runners. Went to the final four in Houston and drove straight home after the loss. 16 hours. Cold Kentucky Rain was the weather and music in the big blue van.

So, you won’t watch CBB after UK loses. You like the NBA but hate golf. Interesting stuff.

I will watch any Tournament game that I possibly can. My hatred for the NBA is unhealthy.
I love golf as much as a living creature possibly can.

I don’t think we have much in common.

I get it. I certainly do. But without March Madness Kentucky basketball wouldn't be where it is today. We're fans of Kentucky, so we're fans of the sport. Gotta support it in my eyes.

And I'm pretty excited that Texas Tech or Virginia will get it's first title.

So we're gonna be babies about this? Got it.

I got some very bad news for some of you here. Kentucky is going to go the next 30 years MAYBE winning 3 or 4 titles.. We're talking a 10% clip, if we're lucky. If you're that miserable come the first weekend in April, why watch at all?

I somewhat agree with him. I don’t have much of an interest after UK loses, honestly because of the ncaa, it makes it very hard to be a college basketball fan imo. I love watching UK but if we lose, so be it, baseball season in my eyes. Although, I did watch the games yesterday and had fun. I think it’s because Duke and UNC lost so it’s tolerable.

If it were a team that cheated to get there, like UNC or Duke, I'd be right there with everyone else. But I like the way Virginia and Texas Tech got there, even if Virginia had some crazy luck.

I guess I just hold Kentucky fans to a higher standard. A fan base that always "forgot more than an opposing fan will ever know" so-to-speak.

Miserable? No. I guess it is like drug addicts chasing the dragon. The feeling I had in New Orleans celebrating number 8 is hard to explain. The feeling I had in the mosh pit on the corner in Lexington 98 was just as unbelievable. That being said I had season tickets for Bill Curry's last year and Rich Brook's first year. <---That is misery. Especially knowing the percent chance we win another championship in the SEC alone is astronomical. I watch the football playoffs but not all the bowl games.

I still watch after we exit. But I don’t think I’ll watch much of TT v UV. It should be a snoozer of a game and that tip time lowers my interest even further.

I dont care about it at all after we're out. Its on to baseball season full time for me, qhile focusing on spring football and popping in here for updates on what our roster might look like next season.

Why would your wife need to "sneak and watch" anything??

She doesn't but I was sitting right beside her and she tried to put the 2013 tournament on knowing that I specifically said multiple times that I am not watching. Glad I didn't it was like it never happened. They even took the banners down and fired the coach.

I'm probably in the minority, but my basketball fandom goes:

1. Kentucky
2. NBA
3. Non-Duke/UNC/Kansas/UL/etc. college basketball

How the NCAA operates and selectively punishes based on a flawed system of amateurism has really lessened my passion for college basketball in recent years. I still watch every Kentucky game I can and root for them rabidly. They're the only team in any sport I really care about, but after our season is over I switch into full NBA mode and watch more NBA than college ball throughout the year. I'll still watch the tournament after we're out, but I care about the NBA playoffs, draft, and free agency a lot more.

PS: Bring back the Colonels and I'll have an NBA team to root for

I came up with the dumb nba post because I meant it. I’m not interested in how Kentucky players do in the nba. Matter of fact it’s more of principle of how things are today. I’m sick of kids leaving early. Obviously I don’t blame them but as a long time fan of Kentucky, I would love to go back when players invested more time in the student athlete. The OP and you can poke fun all you want.

You should watch the game. It’s so enjoyable to watch a game where you don’t really care who wins. Pick a favorite, but you can also find something good if the other guy wins. At the end, you are not sweating, heart pounding, jumping on RRs, you can just go on with your day. It’s fun. I’ll be rooting for TTU as one of my buddies is a grad and is all excited about their first chance to win it all. It might their last chance for 50 years! Have fun in life.

Only interest I have left after UK loses is watching Duke, UNC, KU, and a lot of others lose.

Teams I hate are all gone. I couldn’t care less about either of the teams left.

I might watch the 2nd half.
