I can’t stop watching the games

when i do I see so many plays that never went our way in the past, did this time. Wife asked how many times am I going to replay, I said I don’t know, I’ve never been here before.

Same here. I think I enjoy watching the Virginia and 3rd Texas games as much or more than the championship series. Well, the last two innings of the Virginia game anyway although just as much happened in innings 3-7 to win that game as they did in 8 and 9. That 4-0 deficit in the second was a recipe for a blowout loss but the pen put up 5 goose eggs to keep us in the game with some Houdiniesque escapes to do it. I think we also won it by hitting some bullets right at people in 5-7 because had just one found the outfield grass to break up the no-no McGarry would have never came back out in the 8th.

I watched game two vs Vandy last night. Every time the wife would walk in the room she would sarcastically ask me who was winning.

We beat a very good Texas team twice. We also beat a very good Notre Dame team twice.

We lost one to both of them, and we were almost about to lose one to Virginia which would have put us in a very tough spot.

The 8th inning was the turning point and Tanner Allen's home run, along with Clark's and Debrule's RBI... It shows a fighters mentality that you rarely see.

We had no scouting info on that Virginia pitcher I bet. And he had a decent game until Clark took him yard.

I honestly cannot recall the amount of "fight" this baseball team had. They took punches and delivered the knock out again and again and again.

I've watched game 3 five times.

Outside of the no-hitter early in the season, that was probably our most complete game. We whipped their *** in every facet of the game.

In non-typical MSU fashion, it was, by the numbers, one of the least stressful State wins of the season. Landon Sims had given up 9 ER runs in 4.5 months. Vandy needed to get 9 off of him in 3 innings!

Where are you watching the games? What pisses me off is you can normally count on Bama being replayed non stop when they win a ship, but we win one and I haven't come across the replay on SECN one time.

ETA: I do agree with you we got the bounces finally. And you know they always say you have to get a little lucky to win a natty and we did. I also say this to folks, "As a State fan you should never apologize for getting lucky." We seem to be on the other end more times than not.

It was very odd for us to win Game 2 and Game 3 in the fashion we did. Never thought winning a natty would be easy on the nerves for a State fan. I kept thinking Vandy would make a run and they never did. Just an arse whooping.
