Two out of three ain’t bad. We all knew this was the toughest stretch of the season. Three good teams away from the RAC. I would have signed up for 2 of 3 if I could have. Beating Illinois would put us right there.

Of course, but this will be a really tough one to get

Gotta think Paul Caleb and Cliff come out with something to prove after the way they played last game
This. I was never expecting a "W" last night (they were just "due" and you knew TJD was going to make sure it happened one way or another). Throw into the mix a) those 3 WILL NOT have back-to-back games as such, b) a week off isn't exactly a good thing, and I think we've got this one.

Agreed I would have signed up 100% for 2 out of 3 before Mawot got hurt and if we win at Illinois on Saturday I and I think every fan would be over the moon so to speak

Even though State Farm Center is usually a House of Horrors for Rutgers, I am optimistic about this one. They will be more rested, & will have adjusted to the new lineup. Paul will be on his game.
In terms of standings, this game will have a lot of weight, as it is the only game between the two.
This will be the toughest test remaining in the Regular season.
It will not be a disaster if Rutgers does not get the double-bye. Last year they did, then put out a Klunker against Iowa. I still think they will get it, though, due to the easier schedule going forward.
It is more important to keep the NCAA seed range at 6 or under. A path to the Sweet 16 would be much more manageable.

Thought for sure this would have been a post by the double digit club supporting Meat's ill advised decision to not get vaccinated and subsequent death.

Two out of three would be really good.
