- The fact that overcoming a 20 point deficit set a record for our largest deficit overcome in school history. I believe they said that 16 points was the previous record. I guess it makes some sense. We shouldn’t be behind THAT much in a non-conference game and we only play 4 of them in a season, of which normally 1 is a P5, 2 are G5, and 1 FCS s school. You probably aren’t going to comeback from many 16+ point SEC games. But it is a little demoralizing. I’ll probably be more likely to head for the car or turn off the TV if we get down 2 TDs.
