Not sure about the 8.5, but I think NU’s run ends today. Rutgers is no good, so beating them isn’t particularly newsworthy. Beating MD yesterday was a nice surprise - but it’s not unusual for lower seeded teams with a game under their belt to upset teams that had a bye the first day. The 3rd game in 3 days against a fresh team will catch up to NU today. It may be competitive for 20-30 minutes, but UW will stretch it out in the end.

Question is do we have gas left in the tank? Not much bench, only seven players seeing action in each game, and playing for the 3rd straight day.

Not sure, when I played the closer the games were, the better. You can catch Fire and find a groove and start to tear it up. Sometimes setting and resting does more damage then playing multiple days in a row. We shall see though, I think we will be ok today (not meaning we will win but have enough gas is what I mean).

We’ll find out in the second half if not before hand.. I’m hoping Roby makes his shots earlier today when left open and doesn’t hesitate...
