Jurgens is one of the most improved players on the team since week one.

Yeah I think Jurgens has been improving a lot. Has a long way to go yet, but if he can stay healthy I could see him contending for all-conference honors down the road. He certainly has the athletic ability and potential.

yeah, those high snaps that reappeared last week too.. solid conclusion.
At least wait till OSU goes up a few before you start bitchin again. Im still recovering from some of your white hot takes during the Illinois game.

If you want your most talented guys to play like really talented veterans someday, you gotta let them play like really talented novices once in a while.

The staff obviously feels that WF has a much lower ceiling at C than Jurgens does even though WF's floor may be a little higher right now.

I was a consistent critic of how Pelini was afraid to let talented underclassmen see the field because he didn't trust them. You saw how those guys transferred out of the program.

I admire Frost for having the courage to take his lumps in the early years to get young guys game experience and show marquee recruits that you'll see the field at NU if you can play.

Severe and Benning made an interesting comment that maybe Troy Walters has a hard time letting guys make mistakes at WR because he was such a perfectionist as a player. Hence the seeming lack of impact from some guys at that position.

Some guys don't learn from being protected, you gotta let em screw it up in front of God and everyone before they really catch the lesson and change their habits.
