Great, great win. Texas had only lost one match all year. They were the legitimate #2 team in the country.

Nebraska made a statement tonight.

Texas threw everything they had at us.
Refs got confused about which sport they were officiating:

No way Texas is better than Ville or Wisconsin
Probably not. But UT was in the finals last year and had most everyone back this year. Even as the #2 seed, they were probably the most popular pick going into the playoffs to win it all.
For the other semifinal game, it will be tough to pick whether to root for the Big 10 champ or to root for Dani Busboom's undefeated team. Should be 3 great volleyball matches left in the season.

Went out to dinner with the ski gang. Came home and watched the entire match. After our disappointing football season and the dismal no-show by the men's hoop team this week against Michigan finally something for us Huskers to be proud of. The smalls play was great. They were spectacular. The two freshman up front were outstanding too. I've watched 10-12 matches this year and I thought this was their best effort. Go Big Red

Texas is a big, physical team that can get it rolling and simply steamroll teams. They also serve extremely well.

Texas smoked us pretty good in last year's tourney, and brought everybody back like you said. 5, 7, 10, and especially 33 Eggleston are an intimidating front line.

Gotta hand it to Cook. We played by far our best match of the season with our unflappable Freshman shining the brightest that he invested heavily in grooming all year. Amazing performance, amazing coaching job.

Not being impressed by the Husker victory over Texas last night and acting like it was not a great victory is just being ignorant to how good Texas has been the last two seasons. Not just this year! WOW

We had 2 stretches of losses. 1 at the beginning of the year and then one during conference play that we couldn't recover from because of how far we dropped
And Purdue beat Wisconsin twice.

It was a year in which 1-4 were easy but 6 through 14 or so was pretty tough. The bracket and seed makers had it nearly nailed till our amazing ladies showed up to play their very best last night.

Doesn't matter in the end. Win or shut up. You're in the tourney. Go win.

The Fighting Busbooms need to take out Wisky for us. For some reason they have become Cook's kryptonite. Come on Dani, do it for your alma mater.
