Congrats to the Huskers!

Who are the clowns who get all of our courtside seats?! Do they even know they're at a sporting event and they can cheer & get loud when the other team is serving?!

Most of those people would call me “sonny,” and I’m older than dirt.

I said out loud that they forgot to tell one dude he was dead.

I'm pretty sure that one guy who sits motionless and slack-jawed died in that chair earlier this year.
Pretty sure he must have had a stroke, so he gets a pass. But a lot of able-bodied people act like they’re in church, or at a piano recital, and they freak out when anyone actually gets excited.

Pretty sure he has Parkinson’s disease. One could argue it’s great he stays active. On the other hand maybe he could sit up higher and let a more rowdy fan sit courtside…

OMG...Oregon has the shortest shorts in the sweet 16 by far. Please Mr. Producer, more camera angles from the endline.

Sucks for fans but I'm glad we were really pushed tonight. It's really tough beating a team like Arkansas. They definitely proved themselves against Kentucky, a team that was incredibly hot.

This team is very interesting. Theyre young, super talented, Streaky and full of flaws. Theyre maddening to watch at times. But they just keep winning. Hopefully it doesn’t end up biting them, but a trip to the final 4 is an always a successful season.

They are young but tough as nails. I hope Cook can rally them for the rest of the way.

I hope our next coach is as good as Cook.

So we criticize those that buy season tickets and fund NU vb?? Most schools it's GA and 10 bucks. NU waiting list.

John Cook is 67. If he wins the whole enchilada this year do you think he steps down?

Cook has a loaded young team that looks to be Final 4 competitors for several years, barring some big transfers.

Who's the heir apparent for the HC job? My money is on Dani Busboom Kelly if she wants it.
I mentioned this story here right after I went to the Husker vs Buffs football game in September. In the Spokane airport I talked to a guy whose parents have a house near Cook's in the Jackson, Wyoming area. He told me that Cook told his parents this would be his last year. When I wrote that on this Board people gave my story very little credibility.

Has Cooked recruited any highly ranked players to join the team next year? That might be telling either way.

Finally, it was a great win. The women made me nervous at times but came through with the win. GBR!!!

Great win for the ladies, obviously the comeback in the first set was huge. The results of the last two challenges were odd, I thought they got them both wrong, especially the no call on the obvious net violation. I enjoyed watching Gillen, the 5'7 hitter, she could jump through the roof!

Better hope Wisconsin loses before we have a chance to play them. They are unbeatable healthy.
Yeah, I hear that. If we should make it to the title game I fear Wisconsin more than any other team I've seen play.

Playing them again would make it the best of 3. We beat them at home and they beat us at their place this year. A neutral court for the 3rd matchup at least.

It would make me a nervous wreck but a win against Wisconsin would feel like the most legit trophy ever.

Leave it to Oregon to win the uni game.

With the Ducks in the B1G next year the higher resolution cameras Nebraska Public Media uses will make our matches with them distracting as hell.

Amazing and fun team to watch. They play their asses off and simply don't let balls hit the floor on them.

Crazy part is how young this team is and the amount of gals we have that can put it down. We don't have a go to 'hitter' simply because we have 6 or 7 that can step up and dominate a set or match.

They have already exceeded my expectations this year by leaps and bounds.

Pitt is really good, but would love to see a rubber match against Wisconsin for all the marbles.
