Ick. This works in our favor anyway. Historically, Cook gets the gals rallied to conquer the rest of the schedule after a loss at this time.

Play poorly and still win against a darn good team, this W will be able to be used for a future match where they are stressed and need to rally.

The women are something else. We had family over for dinner so here on the West Coast the match was going on from appetizers through post dinner desert. My bother, the U Dub grad, couldn't believe I wanted to watch "Girl's Volleyball". Our older sister and her two grown children got into the game with me. It was fun to watch the Huskers battle back. I love beating anything that has to do with Penn State.

Craig Bohl's Cowboys beat CSU too. Good for him. They are going bowling. Got to support old Huskers even if we fans ran him out of town.

So young. So talented.

I actually wish this team would get beat at some point in time to relieve that 'undefeated' pressure.

But this team simply doesn't ever quit or give up on any point. Without any doubt the best defensive team in the country, and 6 to 8 ladies that can put it down when hot on any given night.

Pretty damn special group, and we've seen Coach Cook express as much this season.

I had a gut feeling that this would be a tough match and that we would lose. We were due for one of those "let down" games and I figured PSU on the road would be that game. And at first my worst fears were confirmed. But the specialness of this current group of Huskers is that even in the midst of a **** game to start they were able to regroup and win. Great win!

Tons of fight in those young ladies! Penn State's fans created a hostile environment, good warm up for the Wisconsin rematch in their house.

It's a funny joke, but I can't tell if you guys are mis-reading the comment on purpose or not? The comment was about keeping games close and how it'll eventually cost them, not that a close win doesn't count as a win.
