Actually thought Max hit it out for a short second.😩
Just a few feet short and kinda fitting for the season. Soooooo many times we just let it get away. Play like we did at tourney and we win alotta games. But we screwed up a few times that cost us like most games this year.

Thanks max, wish he'd come back but don't think so.

Next year

We have to come up with enough pitching depth so we can pitch someone down in the rotation midweek and not consistently **** the bed against summit league teams

Welp- another season over for Bolt. Is this a repeat of SF? His pc after game sounded kinda like that.

Ya, pitching and just overall depth is not good.

That's pretty much every team. Do this and then win. This year's Texas Rangers have the bats, but they don't have deep pitching. You win championships with pitching.

I’m not talking about winning championships or even competing with actual major conference college teams just what it might take to be slightly more competitive against the summit league

It's hard to get up for games against Summit League opponents.

Memo to coach bolt you need to take the midweek games seriously, since the big 10 is weak you can’t lose to uno South Dakota st and other smaller schools if you want to get into the tournament

Losing in that walk off extra inning game sealed our fate. Just not enough pitching to try to overcome that. Maryland’s staff is too good. The lack of timely hitting in that first game with them was a killer. Maryland got outs when they had to and ultimately ONE freaking hit barely over the fence was the difference in the whole tournament for the Huskers IMO. Sucks but we had to find a way to win in extra innings

Pitching wasn’t our problem…

Since Maryland and Iowa were already getting regional bids regardless of the tournament outcome, does anyone else get in? Indiana has a strong RPI, so they probably get a bid despite crapping out in the tourney.

Losing to Michigan yesterday might have costed them a bid..
