Amongst all this political back and forth we are losing site of the huge game we have looming on the horizon next week

If we somehow manage to upset NDSU next Wednesday we can claim a .500 record against the Summit League - could be a big momentum builder heading into the big ten tourney and certainly a much needed boost in recruiting.

Mmmmm Biden versus Trump. Big difference. The problem is that the primaries tend to elect people who have to pander to the outside edge of their party.
And did your vote matter?

It’s theater. Has been for 60 years. Nobody in power changes, they just get a new mask every 4-8 years.

A few thousand votes in any given state mattered. But you’re right. I don’t think you should vote.😉

I don't vote and don't think anybody should

it's a ruse

I dream of a day there are zero votes to count. only then will the true power of the people be on display. and, yes, I said this long before this past election.
I say the same thing. If you vote then you support the beliefs of who you voted for.

As I said earlier in the year. The goal under Bolt for the foreseeable future is to just make the Big 10 tourney

Minnesota entered the game with an 11-28 record and we gave up a 5 spot in the 9th to lose

17-0 after 7. Think we've got this one.
Save some runs for tomorrow, FFS.

If NU gets the series win tomorrow they're at 9-6 in the conference, still within shouting distance of the leaders. I don't have any illusions that this is a great team, but I would still like to see NU right the ship and make the last month of the conference season interesting.

It looks liked they saved some for today. Scored 8 in the bottom of the 4th to take a 9-0 lead. I’m not sure Minnesoda has any bullpen left after yesterday.

Yeah I had the radio broadcast on for a while. Offense caught a few good breaks early and cashed them in.

I know the Big Ten sucks, but I would rather see the Huskers put themselves in position to win it rather than fade into the bottom tier. If Maryland loses today (currently tied late), NU will only be one game behind the Terps and Indiana. If Maryland wins, Huskers join a pack of teams in second place.

Did we really need to see the results of the Iowa series to know that Nebraska continues to be terrible at baseball? Come on now. We're not a good team that just needs to turn the corner. We've been losing to average-to-bad teams all season.
Honestly, I don’t know why we should expect to be good at baseball. The strong teams are west coast and southern where they are playing year around. We are not in a good baseball conference, and we never will be. Dave Vanhorn ruined us forever.

I agree. We’re not great but we aren’t as bad as we’ve looked at times. It would be nice if we finished strong down the stretch so we could make some postseason noise.

Minnesoda scored 3 in the 6th. That brought an end to Nebraska’s streak of 29 unanswered runs since the bottom of the 9th of Fridays game

I hope Nebraska can find another coach who can ruin us as badly as Van Horn did.😁

Terps complete the sweep of Indiana to remain in first place alone. Michigan State also won to move into second place alone, one game behind Maryland. Huskers one of three teams tied for 3rd place, two games out.

I've given up on this team and staff. And that's huge. I was all in on boldt and thought he was the real deal. Time to move on. We're getting beat by former Nebraska kids we don't have on our team. Puke

The biggest problem I have is bad pitching coach and the team plays down or up to the competition which isn’t good. I’ll hang in especially if bolt gets rid of christy

What does Christy being the pitching coach have to do with 16 Husker strikeouts tonight?

Nothing!!! He’s just a bad pitching coach, the strikeouts we’re due to lack of concentration taking your opponent for granted
Ultimately coaches are judged by the performance of their players. That said the guys who came out of the pen pitched well. Our starter hadn’t started a game in a year. His last one inning outing he struck out the side. I don’t know why our pitching is so inconsistent but I see similar things from my Twins relievers making millions. It seems pretty obvious to me that we have guys with good arms who are just inconsistent. Is that all on coaching? SDSU and NDSU both were on a tear offensively coming in to their games with NU.

Huskers were on a tear scoring runs coming into the NDSU game as well and a lower level team shut the Huskers down.
