Who is celebrating? It's a discussion between rational thinkers. That's probably why you're having a hard time following. Your entire take is based on the idea that Arkansas was a bad team last season, right? You didn't answer the question moron, what team are you a "fan" (?) of?

Just another $&it stirrer that started another user name..

Arkansas was rated #1 pretty much the entire season last year and yes they lost their super regional..

If he's an Iowa troll that explains not wanting to answer who his team is. They freaking lost to Loras College. Nebraska has had a rough start but at least we haven't lost to Wesleyan LOL. Losing to D3 school = epitome of a loser.

while it’s unfortunate the last game got away from them, there is certainly no shame in losing 2 of 3 to Texas A+M

Aren't we supposed to have a pitching guru (RC) on the staff? As many errors as hits? WTH is going on with this team?

Jeff Christy is the pitching coach. I don't know exactly how much Childress is limited with his coaching, but I know there was an article recently where he commented that he doesn't do much specific coaching but focuses on their attitudes and mental preparedness. Not that that has been good either. Something is definitely not right with this team, starting with the fact that there doesn't seem to be anyone in the lineup that strikes fear into anyone.

Huskers take the first two from Ohio State, 5-3 last night and 10-5 today. Going for a much-needed sweep tomorrow.

Buckeyes are pretty bad and I'm not suggesting the Huskers have turned the corner, but it's still fun beating THE Blowhard State University.

We lost to Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament just a few years ago, didn’t we? They care about baseball up there…

Huskers about to post a sweep, up 17-5 in the middle of the 9th. Surprisingly important series next weekend in Lincoln versus Rutgers, which leads the conference with a 5-1 mark. If Nebraska holds on and if Iowa holds on to an 8-3 lead over Michigan, here are the teams at the top of the standings two weeks in:
  1. Rutgers 5-1
  2. Illinois 4-1 (but losing to Purdue)
  3. Nebraska 4-2
  4. Maryland 2-1
  5. Iowa 2-1
  6. Northwestern 2-1
  7. Michigan 3-3

Well, we aren't any good out of conference apparently but let's see what we can do against Rutgers. They swept Minnesota, but the goofers are probably the worst team in baseball the last two years.

I’m not one to bag on Bolt, but can someone tell me why Colby Gomes has fewer ABs than Jack Steil?

Not that I think Gomes is a world-beater, but Steil has shown absolutely nothing with the bat in nearly two years.

Seven of the top fourteen players who have started are hitting under .220. Pretty hard to win consistently when that is the case at this level!

Ugh, another rally falls short. Keep hoping the Huskers will turn a corner but it’s just not happening.
