Exactly, our starting pitcher gave up more runs, 5, than he recorded outs, 4. Nearly every team loses when that is the case

It's February, for God's sake. Not a time to get overly excited about wins or climb out on the edge after a loss. Some of Van Horn's best teams got their butts kicked in February.

Really? When was the last time Purdue made a Super Regional? Sam Houston State did it in 2017.

SHSU wouldn't win the Big Ten, but they would probably be middle of the pack.

Another poster noted that we lost Schwelly, Hallmark, Roskam, Hagge & Acker combined for 3,300 plate appearances & 725 starts - you just don't replace that in year 2 of a staff. I will sit back and see where the senior leadership comes from on this team. Striking out 15 times will not produce wins. Terrible at bats yesterday for sure but it is game one. Let’s see what the coaches do with this lesson.

Purdue was 16-26 last year, SHSU has finished with winning records for something like 10 straight years. GTFO with that ****.

Ive normally just done the Husker Board but during baseball games i head to the baseball board. Not sure bout the basketball board.
