The amazing thing about the seaboard hurricanes is that in the western part of the state, it usually creates some of the clearest, driest weather we see. This time of year humidity isn't much of a factor but in September and August, they tend to suck all the moisture out of the air here as they move up the coast.
The gulf hurricanes are what cause most of our problems on this end.
