I hope I don't repeat anytime soon..I'm a stones throw from the water near the OBX..nothing like your entire house shaking from waves and trees floating in the street and backyard..and of course flooding..when it got ankle deep, I rushed to turn off the main breaker because we still had power for awhile..it ended going out for three days..over 20 died in NC because of this..we were lucky

I'm glad you're safe. I rode out Ivan when I lived in Pensacola. If you are that close to the water, why did you not evacuate?

In my defense, I've been left unsupervised since the age of 18, plus the storm was going to turn right..yup
