Both programs came out of the gate with impressive wins...Interesting matchup to say the least...Thoughts and/or predictions ?

Depends on which Huss shows up. They have the potential to be scary good. If they show up ready to play it's no contest 34-7 would be my prediction

Well I spent most all week watching film of HH & Patton and Huss could be fire this year. Them boys were laying some wood last Friday and looked big and fast. Pretty impressed really

They got the talent to play with anyone in the state. But which mentality is going to show up is your question

This is an interesting game. Cox Mills from everything that I’ve heard and read appears to have a very good team this year. As I’ve stated earlier, Huss will be a handful for anybody with the athletes they have. My guess is that whoever controls the trenches will win this game.

I totally agree about the trench war.....also the mental wars are just that in early season....keeping a tight rein on the communication and execution until it becomes natural habit 3 to 4 games in....looks like a fantastic friday weather wise with the cooler temps....should be some enjoyable ball played in the area tonite...

Tough battle in Concord tonite...that Horton kid threw a ton of balls for Cox Mill in a pretty effective spread offense...Penalties plagued Huss all night but they made the big plays when they needed it to keep pushing the lead..Prince Bemah played great at LB....Huss takes it 28-20 to move to 2-0. They will have to reel those penalties in if they expect to contend with Clover next Friday at Huskie Stadium...Good ballgame regardless
