Hunter Renfroe

[wsjmsu75]

Did anybody see the Tampa Bay/Houston ALCS game last night? Renfroe was the star of the game for Tampa Bay. He made two clutch, diving catches in right field, and drove in 2 of their 5 runs with a double. The announcers mentioned that he came out of Mississippi State after the game. Rays are up 3 games to none and should be in the world series. I'll be pulling for them to win it all.

Hopefully this type of performance will boost him to be a consistent starter at RF for the Rays. I loved watch the Houston players reaction to those sliding catches. You love to see it.

Those 2 catches were absolutely clutch. And his double to RF was not the most impressive hit, but it was a good piece of hitting to be able to muscle that ball into the OF. It really opened the game up for Tampa.

Renfroe is a platoon player. Will always be one but he's gonna end up having a decade long MLB career because of his power and arm in RF. I think he wins a ring this year too the Rays are legit.

I typically don't watch much big leagues ball until they get to this point in the playoffs, but I'd love nothing more at this point than for TB to finish their business with the Astros and then for Atlanta to knock off the L.A. moneybags. If the world series ends up being the Braves and the Rays, I'll be happy for whomever takes home the title at that point.
