Decided to wait until this morning to post. Congrats to HH. They have the same stable of athletes as usual, but play disciplined ball. Kudos to SP D. They were very, very good giving up only the one TD on late drive in the 1st half but controlled HH on the ground and air all night. Offense is unwatchable. Down 5 in 4th qtr with the ball at the one, QB/FB exchange leads to a 99 yard fumble return. Score and SP wins that game. In that situation, there is no reason to think or read. Give it to the FB. Even if you don't score, HH had little chance of getting out of that hole. Stat that I never thought that I would see. In 3 of 6 games, the last offensive play of the game is an INT deep in opponents territory. That makes 9 INTS on the season. Secondly, this game was decided on the field and not by the referees and they were not responsible for the loss. SP lost the game on the field. Watching them was like watching a 3 Stooges (or 5 stooges) episode. Total lack of clock management, it took forever to get the ball ready to play. The head ref did not have the physical conditioning required to ref a Pop Warner game. Keep letting guys like that manage a game and they will be the deciding factor in other games. Lastly, I am not embarrassed by the Raiders as I am so proud of the effort being put out by a number of these kids and recognize that they are very young, but the coaching staff needs to look really hard at whether they have the right kids in the right positions to achieve success. Maybe they do, but to keep doing what you are doing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Go Raiders!
