When asked what were his 3 toughest years, he responds... 4th grade
When I was in ninth grade I had a guy in my gym class who had his drivers license at 17 in 8th grade. Dropped out when he turned 18 and enlisted.

Aren’t there age restrictions on high school seniors eligibility to play varsity sports

I believe there are as I remember Mohammed Sanu was not able to play his senior year at South Brunswick not 100% sure but have some sort of recollection
You're right I had forgotten. He couldn't play although he could practice because he turned 19 over the summer or some such.

I don’t think so.
There are age restrictions in New Jersey. Mohomid Sanu was a good example. I believe the reason that he was not allowed to play HS Football his Senior year was turned 19 before the season.

Maybe he is a Mormon. BYU and Hawaii always seem to have several older Morman players because they went on their 2 year mission before they came to school.

You are right. I thought he meant college players
I actually don’t think there is as when I was in dental school one of my classmates was on the free team and that was division 1 sport and I know he was 25 or 26 at the time

Michigan was very impressive today. After almost 3 weeks on the sidelines, they kicked off the rust in a single half to beat a tough Wisconsin team in Madison. I was most impressed with their great defense. It will be a very tall order indeed for us to win in Ann Arbor.

He was at a private school (same school as Montez Mathis, actually), not sure if the rules are different for private vs. public.

Maybe Tez should have gotten Coach in on Hunter Dickenson if he did not. He would have been a wonderful power forward for RU. Imagine he and Myles rebounding at the same time.

lol Dickinson was a top-50 prospect with a final four of Duke, Michigan, Florida State, and Notre Dame (Brey is a Dematha graduate). Not sure Mathis tipping off the coaching staff about him was all that was missing.

He will face the best defensive center in the B1G in Myles Johnson. I just hope the refs don't ruin Myles' minutes by calling touch fouls.
It's on the road so I would not expect a let them play whistle for him. Reiber gave us some very good minutes against Iowa in the first game. If he was able to be used in the rotation we might be able to have 2 bigs on the floor at 1 time. We are going to be so outsized in this game without a second big that can move. Doucre just dose not fit the bill here.

Tez played in the Baltimore Catholic League. No scheduling crossover with DeMatha which plays in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference, considered the best BB conference in the country. Some other members of the WCAC: Gonzaga, Bishop O'Connell, St Johns, and Good Council. Lots of D1 football recruits too..

Top 50 recruit and now 20 yr old freshman without prep school. Can you say mom and dad held me back so I could get stronger and tougher even though I was the tallest kid in school?

Go RU

That is correct. He was also unable to run track and he was a very good triple jumper

Average NCAAB player age seems to go up every year due to prep school, transfers, etc. Seton Hall seems to always have 1 or 2 players that are 24+.

And on top of Dickinson, they had several other talented big guys to rotate in. Michigan always seems big. And having Howard as the coach, this is likely to continue. Stating the obvious, but if Myles gets in foul trouble, we cannot win this game. Wagner is what 6'10" going against Harper. Got to keep them off the offensive boards.

Unfortunately, the refs will do everything to protect Michigan's chances of getting a 1 seed. If I was a betting man, I would bet my house that Myles will foul out of the game.
