Thought he played pretty well. Only 2 points and 5 boards, but I thought he looked a little quicker and certainly more aggressive than the last couple games. A few of those five boards were pretty nice.

Cal was in his *** several times about being more aggressive. He had several bone headed moments though. Could have finished with another 5 rebounds if he just hung on to the ball.

Yeah well he doesn't have the athleticism of his teammates but he made big plays and is only a sophomore who didn't develop against the top high school competition. Without him today we lose

I thought he had some key plays late. Earlier, it seemed he was letting guys rebound over him.

Can't get really excited about him. Aggressive but his hands and footwork are just bad against decent bigs like UNC. Still early in the season though so he can improve. Don't need a lot from him but when Bam is in foul trouble like tonight, it would be nice to not be wringing your hands when he comes in.

Are you insane. He was the worst player out there today. Guy literally couldn't catch the ball if he was on the court by himself.

All I know is that when Bam fouled out and Humphries finished the game, it would've been nice to have someone else. Like Willis, he's just not a guy you can trust to get the job done against elite competition.

I cheer for the guy and hope he improves, but he is still very raw, always at an athletic disadvantage, and still struggles to make simple basketball plays.

Humphries is everything I want in a backup 5 except he doesn't have the grip/arm strength that I wish he did. If he had more power he wouldn't miss those chippies because he'd be more stable/firm and he wouldn't fumble some rebounds. He's a surprisingly effective rebounder for not being more powerful and not having much of a vertical. Position basketball is his greatest asset right now. He'll get stronger as he gets older and might be damn good down the road.

I didn't say he was an All-American. I said he looked better than his last couple games. He did hqve some nice plays today and showed more aggressiveness. And no, he wasnt the worst player out there. SKJ was, again. He was in for all of a min before he got the yank. He can't even take Hump's minutes at this point.

He had good moments but he didn't play good. Missed some box out assignments, fumbled the ball, didn't run back a time or two which lead to UNC points, dumb fouls. He's not a bad stop gap though while Bam rests or is in foul trouble

Most of us understood exactly the point you were making, SemperFi. He's got a lot of upside. Although, he's frustrating to watch at times. He's so young. Reminds me of Baby Huey.

Wait did you even watch the game? I'm not saying SKJ should've get his minutes but Hump did not play good tonight. He's a 7 footer that plays 6'5.
