So proud of the guys today. Started off hot and then got punched in the mouth with physicality. Senior guards stepped up and that’s what you need in March!! Maybe this game helps prepare them for the physicality against Florida. Chandler was huge today and super happy for him and bouncing back after struggling the last couple of games. Let’s keep this train rolling!!

ps… why are there so few threads created when we win as opposed to when we lose? The one guy who does it is called a troll. I don’t get it.

I am glad they got that win today. The Missouri game in early January has stuck with me all season. Blowing a 7-point lead with 4 to play at home really sucked and I am glad they were able to get the win today to close the book on that game. I was worried though they were going to repeat it and blow another lead to Missou. Showed some growth down the stretch today.

That Missouri game is why we had to play these two extra games. However, you learn from your mistakes and discover how to win in the clutch!!

Felt like we were in a fight today and getting our a.ss kicked, but we hung tough and got to advance. Hopefully we hang with Florida tomorrow and have a shot at it.

OP I think we all know why this thread ain’t getting the hype. It’s because the thought leaders on here complain 24/7 about the program they’re supposed to be supporting and everyone else falls in line. Matter of fact, those who actually want to support the program are openly called cucks on here, and blamed for the losses and program’s downturn. Tomorrow when we lose this place will be firing on all cylinders. All of your favorites will be back to play the hits.

I don’t blame you. This place can be very toxic if you are still a supporter of the team during a down year. I really feel we are turning a corner like that 14 year. We ain’t going that far, but we are figuring it out. Maybe we pull it out tomorrow.

I don’t think it’s likely, but that kind of optimism is a good thing. Kam can definitely help us match up better with Haugh

I thought the same thing too. His length could give haugh some problems. We need to shoot the 3 better. We have shot in the 20s both games. If we can be in the 40s.. I think we got a good shot.

Honestly, for most of us who are disgusted with the trajectory of the program and feel betrayed by Mitch and other “caretakers”, enthusiastically celebrating a win against a mediocre Missouri team is a bit depressing. I want to celebrate final 4’s and #1 seeds and so on. These kind of threads are bitter reminders of how far we’ve sunk.

A win is a win. So you weren’t happy when we beat Troy last year or the Cornells in the first round of the tournament? Come on man I know times are tough but it is perfectly fine to celebrate a win.

I think that’s going to fall on deaf ears at this point. Most of us dissatisfied will be run out of the fanbase for the sake of positivity as the Kentucky program continues to fall to ever greater heights.

At some point we just have to accept that there are more fans satisfied with the misdirection of our program than not. People are perfectly satisfied with lower half SEC finishes as long as we win a game or two and “make some noise” by getting to the round of 32 in the tournament. That’s good enough, apparently.

You're clearly not familiar with the term "fool's gold." Most of us are smarter than you are. How old are you anyway, 13? You act like you just discovered the internet.
