Nebraska athletics: Nothing but winning (ie earning). It's not real money. The real money is the university budget that is under threat of cuts every year. They can pay Trev any number, I'm numb to it.

I like that: "Nothing but winning". Very accurate for the majority of men's sports.

I'm fine with it. When we get rolling in FB and Fred takes us dancing every year all will be good. Throw in Bolt taking us to the CWS and Manning and the boys running through the Big 10 he will deserve it all and then some.

I get more enjoyment out of sports than I do knee replacement surgeries, and I'm not out here bitching about how much hospital administrators make.

It does matter because it makes it a lot harder to get rid of someone you're overpaying who has a large contract.

Seems like another quick, underserved instance of competing against ourselves

Not sure there’s a single program that’s improved during trev’s tenure. Certainly none that people actually care about

This sucks for Trev. Now that everyone knows his salary, he's never going to get a deal on a vehicle ever again.

With the Governor's announcement of the termination of remote working options for state workers (does that include Trev?) I'm sure he could use this extra gas money.

absolutely.. the outgoing guy greases it for the guy he's leaving behind.. it's what the old boy's network is all about.

I do think it's interesting that they now post his salary and that it's doubled in price. They don't want anyone looking into that stadium renovation.. so better make it look like you can afford that lifestyle you're already living.

It's not just UNL, it's like this at every University, every city government, state government, etc.. America is just as corrupt as anyone else.. we just sell it better to the sheeple.
