I posted even before the UGA game saying I was expecting .500 in the SEC with a sheepish 13-5. That said, I’m not optimistic about today. It’s a great chance to beat a UK team that’s down, but they’re also better than 1-6 and have played good teams close. Would love to get the win today, but if we lose, the sky isn’t falling. We have a good season ahead of us regardless. Beating UK would be a huge step though. Looking forward to it

Got a bad feeling that UK is going to miraculously find their way today and look like a final 4 team, but I hope we give them hell. I’ll say this... if we seriously knock off Calipari this afternoon, my cautious optimism for our men’s team will be as high as it’s been in a while

It would be a good win for the program. We have a nice home stand coming up. 4 out of our next 5 are in Starkville after today.

If you can get to 2-0, you have to like your chances to be at the top of the SEC ranks headed into the middle of conference play.

Good half. Really good defense. I hope they can keep playing good D an not give too many easy fouls.

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers... oh and yeah, the worst 3 pt shooting team in the league is hitting 55% from the arc tonight. Shocked that’s happening

Did our guys just assume the game was over with the ejection? The effort has been pathetic since.

I don’t know what team that was for the final 9 minutes, but that was some trash basketball. My gosh, rebound the ball, quit turning it over, and get good looks
