My top two, have always been my top two. Both would take the job I feel like. Both’s resume transition to winning and developing here at State. Next would be Calhoun.

Steve Campbell has won a lot of games. Not doing well at South Alabama, but historically he’s been very successful.

Everybody is talking about the wrong Monken, IMO.

You think Monken is ready to come back to the college game? I would not be opposed to him, but didn’t he leave to be an OC without even getting much of a pay raise? Would be concerned that if he came back he would be reminded of the reasons he left in the first place.

Word on Ok State boards is that Gundy is going to hire Monken back as his OC. The OSU OC just left for Rutgers. They are also saying Monken would possibly be the coach in waiting if Gundy leaves in a couple of years.

He left to go make $2.1 million a year, it was a pretty substantial raise. I’ve heard that he supposedly didn’t like recruiting, but that didn’t show with the product he put on the field. I think he really wanted to be a head coach in the NFL, and it’s come close to happening a couple times, but I think that ship has sailed. I think his offensive mindset and intensity would play well at State. Totally speculative, but I could also see him butting heads with Cohen. Monken is one intense bastard as well. Although it could be a good match.
