Coach Hudspeth was on WJOX in Bham this morning and one of the show's hosts, Tony Kurre, mentioned a couple of times how loaded we are at the WR position. I almost ran off the road when I heard this. Did I hear that correctly? Out of courtesy, I guess, Hudspeth neither confirmed nor denied this statement. Hudspeth talked about McCrae and Berry, 'cause that's all we have in terms of experience (yes, I know Berry only has JUCO exp). Kurre's a big Bama homer so I didn't expect him to be very knowledgeable about State, but if you're going to interview State's Receivers Coach/Passing Game Coordinator, you'd think you'd do a little homework and know that we are nowhere near loaded at WR!
That said, I'm looking forward to Bumphis, Smith, Heavens and Thames coming in and contributing right away.
