Hud and Will Hall?

Will Hall was Coach Hud's OC at ULL. There has been speculation that Hall is in consideration for the WR spot on the staff. Could he be a good fit?

Pluses:
He did really well as the HC at West Alabama and West Georgia before going to ULL.
He's recognized as a good offensive minded coach.
Knows Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia well for recruiting.
Young and energetic and is a players' coach.

Possible hangups:
Everyone knows his dad is a HUGE supporter and fan of the Rebels and some believe that matters.
Hall grew up cheering for the Rebels as well.

Will is nothing like Bobby other than they are both coaches. Will would be a home run hire.

I would hire him in a heartbeat. I don't care how big a douchebag Rebel fan his dad is.

He is a stand up guy and very intelligent. The OM fandom from his HS days doesn't really give me reservations, and I think he has higher aspirations to let that get in the way. Plus he never fully joined the cult and grew up around several bulldogs. I would give my stamp of approval and i was against the Marcus Johnson hire.

Just to be clear, if a coach takes a job at a school there is no F'n way an old allegiance to another school is ever going to affect his effort to make the players he's working with as good as they can be.

I would hire him in a heartbeat.

I concur. I think he'd probably fit in well along side Hudspeth to run the receiving corps between the WR/TE crew. I believe he'd recruit well and his players would run through a brick wall for him.

Will would be a great hire. He has just enough bobby hall to be a great motivator and recruiter. He has grown up around championship teams and played for them as well.
