I really dread who they hire and it’ll probably piss me off if it’s one of the coaches that the Pope cult has gaslit us into thinking would never come here.

UNC made the correct move. Their AD is retiring in July, so I'd guess a committee will do the hire. I really hope they mess it up.
I know a guy they could get that has more tournament victories and SEC tournament victories than Cal’s last 4 years at UK…

Friend of mine is a unc fan and he said yesterday he thought they’d go after the Iowa st coach (can’t spell his name lol) then the vandy coach would be considered as well.

Let’s see if UNC has as incompetent leadership as we do (I doubt it)!
They will get a coach that will bring UNC back. I don't think they would mess up. Imagine if they got Oats or Golden.
If you’re watching the roster/recruits:
-Maxi Adams we were a finalist for(shocking to be a finalist and go elsewhere, I know)
-Dylan Mingo is a top 10 recruit I don’t think we ever were involved with
-Veesar will probably be one of the highest paid players in basketball. No position flexibility so probably mutually exclusive with Moreno
-Derek Dixon. Good freshman shooting guard. He’s the guy who hit their shots late against us
Maxi and Dixon make the most sense for us to watch imo

And his 5 year record will be way better than Popes. Especially at the top. There’s no chance of Pope pulling recruits like Wilson or a final four lol. It’s insane what Kentucky is allowing happen. The program needs major changes from boosters to administration to fan support. We’ve lost our f’n minds.
Look at Popres record. I dare someone to justify Kentucky hiring him. They never do it and they won’t.
Never works when you hire a former player. Sad thing is his record is better than Popes!
If UNC does this right, it will be one of the first coaching hires among power programs that will prioritize NIL. Thats a good position to be in. Every other coaching hire until now has basically been centered around recruiting, player development, Xs and Os, and if you can be just sleazy enough to land a top player... now? It just has to be a coach that understand player value, NIL funding, etc.
I dont think they will get the tier 1 guys (Dusty, Golden) but I do think they will make a surprisingly good hire here. Hope im wrong.
