What is Hough’s non conference schedule looking like this year. They need to be playing more nationally ranked schools on an annual basis

CabCo or City School
CC…one of the guys is coming to ALB. A coach at the school called out the player leaving which got other players mad. If a coach treats one kid like that he will treat others bad as well. Attitude reflects leadership.

Hearing a couple big names are leaving NW Cabarrus for Cannon, and either AL Brown or Mooresville. Kids should be transferring right after the school year. Rumors are both guys dislike how a coach handled a prior player transferring out.

Independence QB Jared Street is transferring to Weddington
How many schools has this young man played for? Is that 3 or 4? I remember a post in the Harrisburg Forum where his dad was criticizing another CabCo team for having a transfer.

Hickory Ridge?
West Cabarrus
Indy
Weddington.

guess if you can’t win keep moving until you have a better chance.

Another Northwest Cabarrus kid transferred. This one was a QB heading to West Cabarrus.

Cannon is getting a legit running back! Should be announced in a couple weeks.
And I was right, another Northwest Cabarrus athlete leaves. RB Titus Troy is at Cannon School. The fallout from one of their coaches calling out of one of their players on social media continues. There should be another one in the next week or so.

Wonder how many kids total have left WC?
Seems like they have an excellent new coach so this seems odd. They won’t be down long. I have attended many games at WC and have always been impressed.

Seen that Providence Day picked up a transfer from Country Day. 4 Star CB. Stated that he is one of nations top defensive backs in class of 2028. Offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, LSU and others. This will spice things up when PD plays Hough. Game I’m looking forward to.

Don't think it effects the Hough game much at all. PD has had a very active transfer portal. Too much IMHO. Its good to get some guys in. But they have stacked a bunch of guys that are used to being the man on their teams and playing in games. Now they have to sit the bench. They do get to reclass which helps some though, but its a big risk for public guys who go private and reclass as you cant go back to public in most cases as your 4 years have started. Then they bring in a 4 star DB mid July that's been rumored to PD since Clark left to PD....... PD defensive backfield is loaded already.

-The 2027 Hough/PD transfer classes are gonna be a cautionary tale of the realities of transferring to a school for a better opportunity or staying at a school when a bunch of guys transfer in and play over guys that have been there since 9th grade. Hough had 7 guys commit. 5 were from other programs and never played a down of football at Hough, but Hough gets the credit. Now talk about the other guys that transferred to Hough that are lost in the sauce...... PD gonna have a bunch of guys lost in the sauce....

As for the game itself. Hough is gonna whip PD. PD is gonna miss Zaid Lott a bunch in this game.
