He turned out to be a hard core right wing conspiracy theorist. Kind of went off the deep end and was ran off the board.
You had all your drama creation when you first got here ... I called you on it. You kept following me around and saying something similar - that, despite you chasing me, I was after you. So you put me on ignore. I forgot about you. Then, when I was supposedly being ignored, you started talking about me again. I would actually call you out for your childishness in talking bad about me "behind my back" while I was supposedly being ignored. Then you start sh.it talking yet again, butting in where you weren't wanted (making sure to remind everyone you were ignoring me). Then you talk about me YET AGAIN when I wasn't involved in anything ...

So, not only are you attempting to live your craziest mean girl life ... you're then, essentially, calling me up, and hanging up, and turning to your mean girls friends and saying "OMG, he's SO obsessed with me! He picked up the phone!"

No fights were picked by moi ... again, he keeps coming at me. F.uck that guy. I was quite happy when he was "ignoring" me, and I didn't talk to or about him at all during that time. As I said, I forgot about him. Yet, he couldn't quit me ... eventually started talking sh.it about me again, or reaching out for "guest appearances" ("I was ignoring you, but ..."). When I tell him to stop talking sh.it about me while allegedly ignoring me, or when he talks to me unsolicited, and I tell him to go fly a kite, I get "OMG, you're obsessed with me."

I mean, I’ve been on these boards for a quarter of a century. I really try to be an independent moderate, issue by issue. With that being said, I enthusiastically participate in rank ‘ems and such, because I’d have a pulse, cock, and sense of humor. I’m not a saint. But I like to think I’m normal and relatively innocuous. I certainly like to think I can roll with the punches and laugh at myself. But this dude sucks the fun and life out of the community. Can’t wait to say bye bye.

If only. If you actually ignore me (for the first time), the problem will be solved. If you do like you did last time you allegedly ignored me, and keep talking about me, and keep "unignoring" to engage me, even though I've made no indication I want anything to do with you, then the problem will reassert itself. And you'll claim it's my fault ... again.
I still think a Moogy - Joe’s Place thread has potential to go a few hundred pages as each tries to claim the last word.
That said, I'm not here for intelligent conversation, for the most part. I'm here to be entertained.

I don’t remember ever conversing with you, except when you interjected yourself into a discussion by asking me, out of the blue, to criticize your political beliefs, and I responded that you’d have to tell me them first (especially since I didn’t remember anything you posted prior, about any subject), and you just kept pestering me to criticize them, without telling me what they were. I’m sure there could have been more exchanges prior, but that’s all I remember.

When I told you that you’d need to tell me what they were, you didn’t address my question, you just restated your demand that I criticize your political stances. Again, that would be weirdly aggressive to most reasonable folks. I believe you kept going a time or two more, before bowing out without disclosing ANY of your beliefs. Weirdly aggressive. Then you jump in here to characterize our prior interaction as ME being so aggressive that you were “shocked.”
You may be letting your opinion of how I interacted with others cloud your recollection of our exchange, because betwixt you and me, you have been the clear aggressor.
I do not agree with your characterization of the interaction. I had been participating in the thread in question prior to responding to one of your posts. I did not challenge you or otherwise ask you to criticize my opinions. I never made any demands of you, which -- of course -- I would not, as I have no power to demand anything of anyone here. I also did clearly describe my political beliefs, and I had already done so in that thread prior to engaging you. If you believe that my asking a single question of you with no insults or assumptions or critique directed at you is aggressive, then I truly do not understand your perspective. I do appreciate your acknowledging that I disengaged the conversation without insulting or otherwise antagonizing you.
Perhaps you are the one letting your interactions with others in that thread and this one, which I do not believe that you would object to being described as being antagonistic, if not aggressive, cloud your perceptions of our exchange.
Regardless, you are clearly more apt to engage in aggressive argumentation than I would prefer, therefore I will leave you to it.

Bingo! If Tom would actually address those people instead of going after the ones being attacked on the daily, he probably would have never needed to shut it down.
