I'm just shocked it took this long for HS regular season games played at Rutgers. Other schools have HS games on campus. The more exposure HS players have to Rutgers the better.

We need to be doing this for as many sports,including state championships and all-star games, as possible. For example,why in the world is the state baseball tournament,lacrosse,track,etc. championships not on the Piscataway campus ?

I practiced on the RU track one year and it was very windy ... Haven't seen it since so maybe it is improved ... Need to check it out to see If stands can handle the attendance ... Loved the South Plainfield track for states outdoors.

RUTrack94;
I can't comment on the South Plainfield site,but there are a decent number of stands around the track/field hockey field. Looks like there would be plenty of room to add some more bleacher stands at a minimal cost.

Yea the problem for track is our Track & Field stadium is smaller than most HS football/track stadiums around the state

Dave,
I don't claim to be an expert on bleacher costs,but I would think we could add some more at a fairly small cost. As for our other facilities,the capacities should be more than enough to host high school games,championships, and All-Star games for the various sports.
