Since everyone's TWO favorite topics are
1. WVU's kitchen
2. Dana/Houston

This is only an issue because some posters deify Holgorsen by disparaging Brown. Kansas State has a better roster of core players that have been in the program than WVU has. The more important aspect is that KSU is stocked with a group that respects discipline and details. A group that had a culture better suited to be in a position to pull an upset like that.

Holgorsen was not a terrible coach, but he had plenty of flaws and was by no means a "great" coach. Holgorsen my turn out to have been a better coach at WVU than Brown or he may not. But neither of us know that and those that claim one way or another are asserting their speculation as facts. The pro Dana ones just tend to do it like festering, insufferable douche bags. Either way if Brown does not turn out to be a better head coach than Holgorsen, it won't prove that WVU should've matched Houston to keep Dana but rather that WVU shouldn't have hired Brown. I'd say its worth it to possibly take a step back in order to try for better than the the highest point Holgorsen had taken WVU.

I see he's discovered the elusive "vault" he's been "hunting" for.

Unfortunately, he's gotten himself locked in and the lack of oxygen is killing his brain cells.

The jibberish you posted is incoherent. If you need help, a simple SOS will suffice.

K-States Cupboard....

K-State returned Thompson at quarterback, the bulk of its offensive line and a solid, if not spectacular, group of receivers.

Dalton Schoen and Malik Knowles.
Isaiah Zuber decided to transfer. (I guess Klieman ran him off)

Running Backs. The Wildcats will rely on true freshmen Thomas Grayson, Clyde Price and Joe Ervin. North Carolina graduate transfer Jordon Brown will also push for time in the fall.

Wildcats do have some nice returning talent on defense. Trey Dishon and Reggie Walker will lead the way up front. Both are three-year starters on the defensive line and seem poised for strong final seasons.

Linebacker was the question mark. Two proven players returning in DaQuan Patton and Elijah Sullivan, but they lost Justin Hughes to a torn ACL in spring practice. Hughes came on strong late last season and seemed to be emerging as the team’s top linebacker.

Some questions in the secondary, though. Denzel Goolsby and AJ Parker will try and lead a group that must replace Kendall Adams, Duke Shelley and Eli Walker. Walter Neil Jr. should give the unit a boost at nickel back.

K-State was good against the run last season, allowing 157.7 yards per game, but struggled at times against the pass, surrendering 245.8 per game.

Yeah. K-State cupboard was bare.

The OP's post only proves Snyder was a better coach than Dana and provides evidence that Klieman is a better coach as well. Nothing from this game or post elevates Dana nor diminishes Brown
