From chewing on my house ? Lol my two pups 8m & 6 months love to chew on sticks, dont bother me , but I live in a log home & I find them literally eating me out of house & home .
Besides shooting them anyone have any ideas? I've sprinkled hot pepper on the wood & they lick it off & began to chew. When I catch them in the act I shock the piss out of them.

Google Kong dog toys. When you catch them swat them with a newspaper or just scold them. Then redirect them to the kong. Most dogs like the kong tennis balls. Honestly shocking a dog for chewing on something does little because he has no idea why he got shocked.

Sounds like they need to go outside and run around alot more. If you're worried about them running into traffic one of those 30 ft cables and stakes allow them to run in circles. Tired dogs sleep more chew less.

I only shock when I caught in action. They run free most days & we play fetch a lot , have at least 100 toys & 10 acres of sticks to eat all they want . When I put them on the porch the eat the house ...
I'm trying this sour apple stuff hopefully it works

If feasible you might want to try a electric fence, had to use one on my dogs once, solved the problem instantly.

I should have been more clear. Pick 1 toy. As this is the only thing in the whole world it's allowed to chew on. You give it that many options it can't remember what's good to go and what's not.

Fit them with muzzles when they are running loose in areas where they have a history of gnawing. IMO, they will only need then for a few months.

There is a bitters spray you could try.

Edit- They also make clear plastic corner protectors
