How much have we spent?

According to some, around 5 million or so. Incredible considering we have 7 guards now for three positions and yet no money left for bigs, the most expensive positions.
Why did we knowingly spend all our money on duplicate guards and have almost nothing left?
Unless we get another couple of Hines type miracles to sign, this has to be something Sha and Nelson are accountable for mismanaging.

Not going hard enough after the premium position C/PF early is really hurting us. Total mismanagement. Now we are struggling to get JUCOs to come here with groin tears...
Just find a shot blocker and play small tenacious defense with a protector and maybe better outside shooting. Thats the plan it appears. Similar to last year.
We didn’t have an offensive threat up front last year unless Hines was in without a PF and Payne’s limitations offensively. But we got defense.

Of course it all could work out, but there's no denying that, Sha/Hernandez/whoever have totally bungled the frontcourt. Yes, we've found diamonds in the rough before with Bediako and Payne in the past, but it's a major role of the dice to be a week into May and not have at least one semi-proven big man. Just think back to 24-25 to see how ugly things can get without a decent frontcourt.
It was always going to be difficult to get a decent frontcourt given how other teams are prioritizing bigs. The prices are just too high for a Temu high major like Seton Hall.
The right approach, I think, was to prioritize guards, roll the dice on several low cost big men with upside, and hope one works out.
I like the Mariano signing but seems like most of the pieces are off the board at this point. They will have to get creative

If we only have 2.3 million left for 6 roster spots Sha, Felt, Hernandez, etc must be shtting bricks
My guess is we are between 5 and 5.5. The one guy I don't have a good feel for is the Brazilian.
Based on who we've signed and who we've brought in for visits, it seems Sha is shopping in the 700-900k range. It seems the 6 guys we've signed are in that ballpark then add Parker & Payday. So we likely have room for 3 more 700-900 range players unless Sha breaks from his pattern.
