No offense, but this might be one of the biggest reaches and worst examples I've ever seen posted on this board. That's like saying, Alabama was getting pounded for a number of years after Gene Stallings until they finally decided to settle for Nick Saban and stop the hc turnover.

Well, yeah, no sh*t. They ended the turnover because they finally found someone who was good. All the "hc turnover" guys weren't getting it done. You stop it once you find one who's successful. Granted, for KSU that bar is different than Alabama and Nebraska, but it's the same concept.
I disagree, snyder did'nt win more then 7 games his first 4 years..and that was in alot less condensed blue blood league, basicly NU and 0u..
puffs and misery has historicly been gay..

I understand the need for kicking and screaming the last 3 games..I don't care if folks vent...but I witness ksu turnover head coaches like dei hires on trumps staff..and they did'nt win till they stopped the turnover machine and got consistency ..

remember dr. tom did'n win NC's without like century+ of assistant coaches on his staff

Next coach I would like a bum who sleeps in his office. Dosen't care about podcasts and gets the most out of players.

KiffIn, Saban, Meyer, Christobal, Bob Stoops, Pete Carrol, Deboer (Washington) and the list goes on and on. What do they have in common? The previous coach was fired in 3 years or less (Saban 3.5). Matt? Give him 5 or 6 years as many have suggested? Schools that are serious about winning, can see that 3 years is long enough to recognize a turd and move on. Works for some, hasn't worked here (Smiling Mike). Maybe just maybe it is Nebraska's time. Give Matt a FULL 6. Games that is. Should have been done 4 months ago. Extension or not.
Do you really think he is going to be anything but a mediocre coach? I do not. He was terrible in the NFL. Just like his college teams, no direction. I keep repeating this because I think it is a great indicator of Matt the Hat's coaching ability. He has lost 6 or more games seven of the ten years he has been a college coach. Take away the two years that he lost less than 6 games when he was at a low-level school, Temple, and Rhule has only had one season out of 6 seasons coaching at P4 schools with a season where he has lost fewer than 6. One season! Another telling fact is he is 10-17 in the BIG. He is clearly in over his head, but keep buying is rhetoric because he will tell you it isn't his fault and all he needs is more money and more time.

Didn't you hear him say that Bill Belichick told him that it takes three years to get the right staff?

Matt says he has turned the program around faster than most coaches hired at the same time as him because he has taken the Huskers to two bowl games in three seasons. There were 22 coaches besides Matt that I came up with that were hired before the 2023 season. 10 coaches have a better record and 12 have a worse record than Matt. 10 coaches of this group have been fired and Tim Beck at Coastal Carolina won one more game than Matt and still got fired. It is not apples to apples but if I were Rhule I would not be backing up his argument that he is a good coach with this stat.

He looks nervous. I didn't watch this weeks ago. But, that is my take.

For context, that was leading into our bowl game this year. You know, the one on NYE where we got absolutely curb raped on national television while he spent the trip ziplining in downtown Vegas and playing dressup on the sideline.

He should have been a lot more nervous. He should also stop lying to himself and the fans. We deserve better than this clown show.

(yes that video clip makes me ragey every time I see it reposted)

It's more like how many years will it be until he's gone? I'd like to be his financial advisor, I could live off his take from Nebraska.

Highly disagree. Far too predictable on Offense and ran up stats on subpar teams while tanking against good teams. Who goes into games (USC and Mizzou) with a gameplan of not trying to win and just run clock? Every 3rd and long was the middle screen and at the goal line the out pass to the Fullback.
Callahan was an offensive line coach. Still is.,

I liked Bill a lot but he was a terrible fit for NU and he never did anything after coaching here. His skill set makes the argument that there should be a general manager of the program who runs logistics like new technology, analytics, recruiting, spring game, marketing, NIL, academics and then a head coach who is purely in charge of xs and os and some recruiting overlap. Bill was great when it came to innovative technology, marketing, and recruiting. He sucked when it came to interacting with people.
Still coaching in the NFL, as far as I know.

Because comparing our Basketball program isn’t the same as the football program.

As a fan we have more patience when it comes to basketball and we don’t with football. We have higher expectations in football.

That's just one of the many reasons the whole "Hoiberg got 7 years, so should Rhule" thing is one of the dumbest arguments ever. I think it's probably been discussed to death on here already, so I won't wast time going into it more. But I just want to slap people anytime it's ever brought up.

It doesn't even make sense.

In year 3 at KSU, Snyder played 4 teams in the top 20 and had a winning % of 0.636

In year 3 at Nebraska, Rhule played 1 team in the top 20 (in an exhibition bowl game), and had a winning % of 0.538

Most I have done in a day is 45...It was both amazing and horrible!

Nebraska City, Arbor Links. 100 dollars all you can play.

The last 9 we just sort of did a best ball thing.
I have played Table Creek a few years back, course was little rough at the time I played it.
