Do I think it’s possible there are some that have or could be carrying smallpox? Possibly, but I’m not concerned about it. It’s not out of the realm of possibility and it doesn’t drive my thoughts on immigration. My opposition to it is specifically on our current inability to address illegal immigration and this caravan represents a very real visual representation of it. There is only 1 party willing to take this on and it’s not the Dems. The caravan more broadly reflects a road map for the future. If this is allowed unabated and unchecked, the next one will have 30k in it. And the one of that will be bigger.

CDC said this back in 2015 from a Politifact article:

"The sheer number of people who live, work, and travel between the United States and Mexico has led to a sharing of culture and commerce, as well as the easy transportation of infectious diseases," CDC writes on its website. "The large movement of people across the United States and Mexico border has led to an increase in health issues, particularly infectious diseases such as tuberculosis."

CDC specifically cites the possibility of the cross-border movement of "HIV, measles, pertussis, rubella, rabies, hepatitis A, influenza, tuberculosis, shigellosis, syphilis, Mycobacterium bovis infection, brucellosis, and foodborne diseases, such as infections associated with raw cheese and produce,"

It was one guy, a former ice agent whi was a commenter on a segment that said it and that is where ctard got it apparently.

The big fear with smallpox is that kids are not vaccinated for it now I guess and it could be used as a chemical warfare agent.

False. I have seen three clips from FoxNews of 3 different people state the smallpox crap. False, all three were in context of individuals bringing it as carriers, not as a warfare agent. And how dumb is it to believe these poor individuals are carrying a vile of smallpox virus so they can spread it in the US? Think a little.

Yea, still not seeing where I claimed the CDC validated it. Still not seeing where you’ve provided proof none of these individuals are completely immunized from smallpox. I do love how you focus on that one item and not the vast amount of other diseases and potential medical conditions they could be bringing which were validated as potentially possible by the CDC.
