Who is Steven Godfrey? Articles like this are always confusing to me and a bit troubling. The author can’t prove that all of those teams can beat Nebraska but he put it out there as if it’s factual and not hypothetical. There are no repercussions for him making these statements, if Nebraska blows out buffalo this fall is he going to write some corrected story? Hell no. To me this is just another case kicking someone when their down.To me this is akin to Iowa fan spending so much time on a Nebraska board.

Never heard of the guy but we served up the opportunity for everyone to take a free shot with that stunt last week. At least it's never boring with this program. We may be circling the drain, but it's never boring.

It's freakin' Buffalo. If we lose to BUFFALO, Scott Frost should resign immediately after the game. Post game interview. Scott: I have been a failure and I resign effective now.

I don't know, would we run the ball or throw interceptions?

OP posts articles / tweets of random people all the time as if it is proof of anything, or that it matters at all. Eugene and Ida are two of his faves.

This guy in a tweet is super angry about a guy in an open restaurant eating without a mask. Yea he thinks the guy should eat with a mask on. He is a very stupid pencil neck Twitter dork
HE BELIEVES IN SCIENCE... maybe just maybe if everyone wore masks while they ate we’d be able to see our family’s by Christmas

I have zero issues with OP. I just feel that if someone is posting clickbait it oughta involve yoga pants.

That's good, I'm just letting you know that his MO is to post things from horseshit "journalists."

No he would blame it on the youth of the program.

According to Sean Callahan AM2 threw 3 total interceptions last year in final five games of which two were in final game with a 72% completion. #7 left the building.

and we went 2-3 over those 5 games. Par for the course in the Frost era. I hope no one is hanging their hat on the Rutgers game.

Yeah Rutgers was visibly less athletic. Kind of like last years Maryland game. Should've been able to win by substantially more than we did.

Yup. Nebraska should never lose to a MAC team. I don't care how bad we are. That happens at this point and yeah Frost should call it a day.

well if you read this dude’s article, I wouldn’t think the game will be even close. He believes Buffalo and Kent state can defeat Nebraska. AndBuffalo dropped a 70 bomb on Kent and won by 29 last year. We’ll be lucky to keep it that close.

He mentioned all these teams in the MAC and he still forgot to mention Ball St who beat Buffalo and beat San Jose St in a bowl game..

fascinating discussion about potential mid major opponents -as most are aware I abhor this type of reckless speculation that this garbage article stokes and prefer facts as much as possible

if we look at the sunbelt rather than the MAC due to larger sample size

Scott Frost has a .500 record against the sunbelt while at Nebraska

he lost to the second best team in the sunbelt in 2018 but bounced back against the dead last sunbelt team after going into the 4th quarter only up 7 and the game very much undecided

now some will say that the only reason he isn’t 0-2 against the sunbelt is that they traded out a good sunbelt team and played the worst team instead - but that would be purely speculative which I resist

I have never heard of this dude, and I didn't read the article, but this is effectively what journalism has turned in to, not just in sports either. Journalist, and I us that word loosely, have turned in to targeted op-ed writers. They are either too lazy or stupid to do any actual research, so they post, and I say post not write, an opinion that they know will get a reaction.
You see the same stuff from all of the talking faces on the 24 hour news channels. There are very few journalists anymore that can write a subjective article with any substance.

Having 10 fingers, an opinion, an internet connection, and access to a website or a twitter account does not make someone a journalist.

I thumb out all kinds or ridiculous crap up here all the time. People read it. I'm not a journalist.

He also lost 5(!) fumbles in those games, including one on the final drive of the iowa game and another vs minn that sealed the L.

AM single handedly kept purdue in it and had us trailing rutgers at the half while scoring 7 points, as well.

Wasnt until Frost took the ball out of his hands that we looked like any sort of competent offense, but again that was against rutgers, which are about as hapless as they come.

It's not that deep.. Saw an article knew it would start a discussion. No clue about the names you posted but being exposed to different opinions is never a bad thing. Have a great day

I think we deserve this after that bumbling idiotic idea of pulling out of the Oklahoma game that honored our 1971 Team.

And then beat the reigning MAC Champs by 6 TDS, two weeks later.

In 2017 and 2018, Nebraska only barely had talent on par with a Sun Belt or MAC team.

In 2021, Nebraska will blow out Buffalo.
