Jock Sutherland went out of his way to try to destroy UK and especially Joe B. It was personal not based on results of anything on the basketball court. One would think he may have wanted an assistant position on the UK squad when Dirk Minniefield signed with the Cats.

What ever it was Jock came over the radio waves looking like a fool because every week night he blasted Joe B Hall and said things that would make you want to whip his puny ***.

I am thankful he made peace with those he mistreated but as a fan, I will not forget him and the harm he did. The two biggest anti-UK basketball people in Kentucky history were Jock and Billy Reed. Billy Reed ranks #1 in my book. He is a drunk hater
I absolutely HATE Billy Reed . Even more than Jerry Tipton .

If a Family Dollar Jerry Tipton made a baby with a Dollar Tree lobotomized Jay Bilas doing a terrible Papa Joe Chevalier impression full time and that thing made a spawn with the offspring of a Dollar General Father Coughlin and a Walmart Clearance bin random linebeard Portland of Louisville hooligan you might have something resembling Jock Sutherland

My favorite Sutherland‘s story:
Louisville was beating Auburn by 20 at the haft at a tournament in Puerto Rico. Sutherland said no wonder Kentucky dominates the SEC with teams like Auburn in it. In the 2nd haft Auburn opens a can of whoop *** and beat the Cards by 10 points. 😂
Remember Jeff Ruland? Big man from NY and everbody thought he was going to UK. He stayed home and went to Iona. U6 played them somehow and JS pretty much called him just a big slow white boy. Well he got like 45 on U6 and beat the hell out of them. After game the loud mouth said he could see why UK recruited him🏀👍🏾😁

He isn't as emotional as Tom Leach but, Rogers seems to be very professional when calling a game. He rarely offers a personal opinion during the game. Seems like a decent guy. Hate that he is stuck with Valvano. They don't seem to mesh very well either.
Rogers another UK grad who became U6 fan because of his job...Cawood helped him get his job.

Jock was my Health and PE teacher at Lafayette, 78-79. I certainly appreciated the fact the ratio of PE classes to Health classes was about 99% to 1%. :).
HaHa! I was there76-80 My senior year ,my friend and I played ping pong the whole time during PE. Dang that team with Dirk, Tony Wilson and Junior was something!

He’s a sad little man. I always referred to him as the little uncle to the little brother. Only reason he ever rose to whatever small amount of fame it was, was because he hated UK and Louisville people ate him up. He was the cheap imitation, the knockoff brand, the wannabe, he thought he was so cute but really he was a piece of dog excrement. He came out and apologized later because they all abandoned him at Loserville. He’s trash.

He was terrible. I remember he used to do Lexmark printer commercials on the radio and his schtick was the punchline, "I think they shoulda named it Loumark."

What was his major issue with UK? He happened just slightly ahead of my following. I remember his quote "If two people fell in a hole, one would be a UK fan".
He found out disagreeing with UK and Hall was a way to make a living and it worked for him.
