Some things changed a little for me due to the bowl games.

7-11 wins
2-5 losses

2018 Nebraska Schedule

Sept. 1 Akron - W
Sept. 8 Colorado - W
Sept. 15 Troy - W
Sept. 22 at Michigan - Toss up, but after their bowl game, I could see NU winning, especially if the transfer QB doesn't play in 2018.
Sept. 29 Purdue - W
Oct. 6 at Wisconsin - L, I had this as a toss up before, but Wiscy impressed me a lot in their bowl game win, plus it's early in the season with our new offense and defense.
Oct. 13 at Northwestern - W
Oct. 20 Minnesota - W
Oct. 27 BYE
Nov. 3 at Ohio State - L
Nov. 10 Illinois - W
Nov. 17 Michigan State - Toss up, which MSU team shows up?
Nov. 23 at Iowa - Toss up, but I think we win
Dec. Bowl Game - W

I foresee the football team sitting down for Coach John Cook to speak to the whole team this summer and that the team ends up using the 2017 volleyball team's slogan: #WhyNotUs

Wisconsin's crossover games are @Michigan, vs Rutgers, and @Penn St. They do lose a lot on defense, so maybe we do stand a chance to win this game, but probably just too early in the season before we really get things clicking.

I don't think we end up winning the west, but can I see us finishing 2nd or 3rd.

1. A schedule that is even more difficult than it first appears - Troy is no slouch and who knows about Colorado. Tough games across the board after Akron.

2. Completely new offense. We know for certain we have a high school QB coming in who fits what Frost wants to run but he missed his senior year with a shoulder injury. By all accounts, he is well healed but there are going to be a lot of firsts for this bunch.

3. Although the 3-4 was introduced last year, I think it is fair to say What Chin runs won't resemble what the Huskers ran last year (at least I hope not!). We seem to have numbers at LB but do we have the right guys? CB and Safety are still the question marks. Will JOJO come back from the knee injury and where does he fit? Will some of these safeties end up at LB?

I know there are some on here who think the culture change will be difficult. Right now I am not concerned about that. I think the players want to win and they will figure out very quickly what it is going to take under this HC and his staff.

I think every team we play in conference play will be better next year. It is getting more and more balanced in the division and league so from year to year it is hard to predict. I do know I have heard at least two QB's say that it took a couple of years to finally grasp the Frost O so there is another little tid bit to overcome.
