I don't think we will have many defections at all. The only way AJ and Cheney would 100% NOT come back is if Croom left. Carroll isn't going anywhere, he'll probably start again next year. Lee is just the lesser of two evils now that Carroll has gotten pick-happy. Then again Tyler Russell may come right in and play but he will probably break his femur in the Jackson State game, MSU style.
As far as recruits, we may lose the guy from Oxford to Ole Miss in addition to Patterson. Hell, they won this year and we didn't. Same thing happened with Charles Mitchell last year. From all accounts I hear some guys have opened up their recruitment from other schools to talk to Croom. We may even get Chaz Ramsey (if he can play football again).
I'm not a Croom supporter until death or anything, but I'm just stating that I think player defections, active and recruits, will be low. We may lose another one to the big boys, namely Fletcher Cox to Alabama, but we do that every year regardless of coach.
