I do not think he will finish the year. DS might be spot on, maybe another game or two but I think they will can him early and get on the coaching search. They don't really have a good interim guy

In my experience more LSU fans can’t distinguish between OM and MSU than hate OM.

Just because a fan base hates Ole Miss doesn’t make it a rivalry. If it did, Ole Miss would be rivals with every school they’ve ever played. Name one fan base who thinks their fans are awesome and inviting to the visiting fanbase. They correctly think they’re all a-holes.

I’ve been to tailgates at Tiger Stadium multiple times and I’ve always had a great experience. One time a drunk coonass wanted to fight because we walked by his tent wearing maroon, but even his buddies said if he even tries to throw a punch, we will whoop his ***. Most all of them said they hate Ole Miss because they’re arrogant pricks that try to cause trouble instead of enjoying a game and hanging out eating good food and drinking good beverages.

Of opposing fans that have been to both Dudy Noble and Swayze, the percentage of ones that would choose Dudy Noble over Swayze to return to for a game their team wasn’t playing in would be 100%.

I think it was more about his assistant coaches. He is smart enough to hire the best and it paid off but they left.

Them hiring O was a Godsend to the rest of the West. I know they caught lightning in a bottle in 2019, but he’s awful. The worst thing that can happen to Leach and Kiffin’s rebuilds (which are both trending positively) is LSU hitting a HR on next hire. Their last 3 HC’s have won a national championship, and the last 2 were absolutely terrible hires. That’s how good of a job it is.

Like I predicted last week when I tried to bet several of you that MSU would go 6-6 or better (and no one took me up on it), that’s the loss that’s going to haunt you at the end of the season, every bit as much as Memphis. You’ll look at that one as “damn we should’ve been 8-4, or 9-3, or whatever”. You outplayed them everywhere but the scoreboard.
