How is this even possible?

Urso lived with her boyfriend, who was not at home at the time of the fatal attack. He himself had been attacked by the same French Bulldog last month, and the animal was taken away, Lee said. Urso had gone to the Lake County Animal Care and Control to retrieve the dog, which was returned to her, the Daily Herald reported.

I hate to say it but what the hell was she thinking?

With that said, I am scared to death of dachshunds. I've been bitten by several of those evil little 17ers

you would be paranoid at my house..I got two of em. They sleep more than any other dog I have ever owned.

But back to the subject... mauled by a FRENCH Bulldog? Are they not like 10 to 15 lbs? How do you get mauled to death by an approx 20 lb dog?? Unless she had a disability or something.

I guess I Just know how to handle dogs as I have had a dog pretty much every year of my life. I know when a dog is barking to just talk **** and when they are serious. I have jumped in the middle of my dad’s German Shepard and our neighbor’s German Shepard fighting over a dog in heat. You know where to grab them quickly while they are focusing on each other. Dogs have never scared me and part of it is knowing when they are hostile.

Out of all of that... I have been bitten by a dog once in my life... on the ankle by a chihuahua. I kid you not. It snuck up on me walking to the mailbox without making a sound and hit me right on the Achilles. I thought it was a snake. I just scooped up the little rat and walked it back to the neighbor’s house and never made the embarrassing admission it bit me.

That unless they read the pack.

Per Google, males weigh 20-28 lbs. I really don't understand how this is possible. Especially given the below excerpt from the article. I might could see the little bastard getting lucky with a bite to the neck, but I just can't imagine a 28 pound dog killing an adult with bites to the arms and legs. That dog must be like a damn wolverine.

Cooper said most of the bite marks were not on the woman’s neck, but, instead, on her legs and arms.
“Some on her torso as well. Just a lot of bites. A lot of scratching,” he said. “I hate to say it but unfortunately it was a vicious attack.”

Maybe she was completely unwilling to fight back at all? I woulda drop kicked that joker! Only dog that every attacked me was a Lab, of all things. Ex-girlfriends alcoholic father made it mean. Lunged at me one day when I was walking in. Luckily I was able to kick it right in the sternum and send it on it's back. Family member collected it before it could come back at me. Never seen a mean Lab before/since.

I just don’t understand this. When I was like 7 years old there was a French bulldog that lived across the street. That little 17er would chase me anytime I was in the front yard, and I would go cry to my parents. My dad got so mad at me, he told me that “there’s only one part of that dog that can hurt you, and if you can’t figure out how to deal with it, the next time you come inside crying, you’re grounded.” Well I took those words to heart. The next day I was outside and the dog pulled its usual ********, barking and growling, running toward me. I didn’t flinch. As soon as he was within range, I launched the most picture perfect kick you’ve ever seen. Contacted him right underneath the chin. I looked like a 17ing Rockette. That dog literally did a back flip and ran home. Never bothered me again.

They walk among us.

She knew it was trained to fight,

After it attacked a family member,

She went back to rescue it again.

She likely bled to death.

no further comment.

I'll bet $100 she wore a mask whenever she went to the grocery store.

"on the ankle by a chihuahua"

Chihuahuas. little 17'ers are sneaky and quick. They'll sneak up and bite you and then run away before you can kick their *** into orbit.

I hate the bug-eyed little 17'ers.

My mother used to breed and sell chihuahuas. They were always around, so I developed a special, ninja-like hatred for them as a kid. I would never advocate animal abuse or cruelty, but I will say that those little bastards are the perfect size for kicking.

My guess is the woman had to already have been incapacitated.

Possibly passed out from fear combined with an existin ghealth issue? Or maybe got knocked over and hit her head? Although if the dog was actually 50 lbs, I could see it not needing her to be incapacitated.

Article says the dog was a rescue previously used to fight.

that’s an even bigger headscratcher. Used to fight against what? Against pit bulls? The thing is damn lucky to still be alive if so. Against other French Bulldogs? Now I have never heard of French Bulldog fighting ring.

ive never been to one of these animal fights or know anyone who has. Can you just bring anything? If that’s the case, and I was a lowlife that participated in that, id bring a damn Wolverine. You would have to train that thing to do anything but get back in the cage.
