In a pass happy league how is it that a proven CB is out there? From what I’ve seen there is still good tread on those tires.

if you don't ask, you won't get it.Poor Logan if he has to settle for only $10 million/year. Geeeesh!
No reason not to ask, the NFL is still in a holding pattern.if you don't ask, you won't get it.
Dear god, for me I'd be more interested in signing with a winning team than for a few more bucks. From what I read, he wants a little more than the going rate for cornerbacks. I think I read around 12-14 mil per year but getting offers of more like 10 per.
That is you. And that is a lot of people. But not everyone. There is a subset of athletes for whom maximizing the earnings potential of their finite earnings years is all important. More so than winning, or geography, or family considerations, or playing in one's preferred position.Dear god, for me I'd be more interested in signing with a winning team than for a few more bucks.
2 million more per year is definitely more than a few bucks. This will be his last big contract he should definitely get as much money as he can.Dear god, for me I'd be more interested in signing with a winning team than for a few more bucks.

Exactly - and people don't get it ^^^ Why would anyone leave money on the table. Let's just act like we would all do it for freeif you don't ask, you won't get it.
DJ- that makes no sense at all...The guy has a couple of rings already. Go for the money now.Dear god, for me I'd be more interested in signing with a winning team than for a few more bucks.
See, and I find your post totally ignorant, so wow, I guess people have different points of view. These are the most ignorant type of posts of all time.

Perfect world, he and everyone else would like to get paid the best to play for a winner. 2nd best option to me is get paid the best with the confidence that I can get them to the top. And the fact that he already has 2 rings, allows him that luxury.See, and I find your post totally ignorant, so wow, I guess people have different points of view.
A. I don't feel bad for him for having to settle for $10 mil/year. He will quite literally make more in a year than almost every other American makes in a lifetime.
2. Who said do it for free? I would say there's a big difference between $10mil/year and free.
D. Are you saying that winning twice means you have no desire to win at all anymore? To me, this choice is simple. I would rather play for a winner where I'd be happy for $10mil than a losing team where I know I'd be msierable for $13mil. Now, I understand that not everyone feels that way. But I hate losing. I hate losing more than I enjoy winning. So for me to sign on for losing just for a bit more money wouldn't make sense. Some people (Like you, clearly) don't mind losing if they're getting paid. But I would be so unhappy, and I can't put a number on my happiness.
We're gonna have to agree to disagree here. I grew up pretty poor. Not far from where Logan did, actually. We were the poor kids that Eastern beat up on in conference play. Anyway, to me, there is no difference between finishing my career with $60mil vs $70mil (He's already earned over $30mil). To someone who has been around more money, maybe there's a difference. But to me, they're both abstract numbers and I couldn't dream of spending half of that in a lifetime.Perfect world, he and everyone else would like to get paid the best to play for a winner. 2nd best option to me is get paid the best with the confidence that I can get them to the top. 3rd option is after winning 2 in NE, I would take less money to play for just about anyone else but BB. He is a great coach, someone you can learn a lot from, but one miserable SOB that doesnt give a **** about anyone besides himself.
And 13 or 14 mil for 2/3 years vs 10 mil for 3/4 years. equals closer to a $10 mil difference. If you are talking 10 mil vs 10.5 mil then you go with the winner for less. 3-4 mil each year- come on man...These teams don't care about you.

It does make sense because both of those numbers are unfathomable to me. It's like I have a 1 gallon pitcher and you're saying I can have 10 gallons or 12 gallons of beer. It doesn't matter because they're both above what I can hold.
And to me, you saying he's already won it twice is completely nonsensical. I play in a men's hockey league. We've won it plenty of times. That doesn't make me care any less about winning it next season.
Love and respect all of the above essential workers- Doctors= not under paid Nurses = they are under paid Scientists = most not under paid Farmers = not sure what to make of them but not sure they belong in the list with the others on the true front line Delivery = Absolutely Under Paid at a time like this but in most cases, some of the higher paid employees of the company they work at- the warehouse people are the under paidI'm all for Logan earning as much as he can. But if these "new" days have taught us anything, it's that we now know what we can live without versus what is truly important.
Doctors, nurses, medical professionals, scientists, farmers, delivery personnel, etc etc = ALL UNDER PAID
Anyone in the entertainment business = Actors, athletes, etc etc = ALL OVER PAID
