Trying to come down to Starkville for a game and I haven't been to hotel Chester before? How is it? Is it really new? I don't think it was there when I graduated.

It's old. Probably built around the turn of the century. The rooms are small (they were built differently back then), but the food is pretty good and The Beer Garden is a real nice low key spot on weekends.

Id recommend it if you can get in.

It's been a long time since I've stayed there, but I agree with 57. Just tell your wife to pack light. He's not kidding about those small rooms.

I had my wedding reception there shortly after it opened.

Great spot

And the Beer Garden is money. It is a great place that is in the middle of everything but you feel secluded. I actually wish I had a few of those crawfish egg rolls right now.
