Folks this will be my first ever post on this board and i couldnt think of any better way to do it rather than tell how i see this auburn game going down. I think both teams are pretty much evenly matched across the board except in 2 to 3 areas. I know Dak is much better than Nick Marshall. He hasnt looked very good in any game so far this year except against LSU and they got no pressure on him all night. Which brings me to the next advantage i think we have, our D Line. I think by the end of the game we will be dominating them up front, their O line has not been what it was expected to be and they are banged up. We should control the line of scrimmage all day. Same with our O line. I cant wait to see D Day come back and open up a can on auburn. I think we will take the run away and make Marshall beat us with his arm, i dont believe he can. Not in starkvegas. Tell me what yall think.... BeatAuburn

Congrats, much better first post than the norm. Only a couple things that I'd be careful about proclaiming...

I know Dak is much better than Nick Marshall. He hasnt looked very good in any game so far this year except against LSU and they got no pressure on him all night.

Granted, there isn't a player in the country that I'd rather have than Dak right now, but rest assured that Nick Marshall is still a guy that can kill us. We need to pick our spots when blitzing and we'll need to follow assignments in order to contain at times, but make one mistake and Marshall has the ability to make us pay quickly.

We should control the line of scrimmage all day. Same with our O line.

Hey, our depth on the D line is fantastic and our O line has played much better than what I had expected, but I don't know that I'd go as far as to say that I expect to control the line all day. It will be a dog fight, and Auburn has done pretty well against the run so far this year.

All in all, we just need to keep doing what we've been doing and we'll be fine. Protect the ball, follow assignments, and pick our spots for blitzing and going deep. If we do that and keep our top guns healthy, I like our chances.

Yeah i agree. I think this game is more about us honestly, play smart as in no turnovers, not a lot of pre snap penalties, and we will beat them. I was very encouraged seeing how they struggled on the road with Kansas State, and i know Davis Wade will be 10x louder than bill snyder family stadium was haha
